Did you know that there are 3 dimensions to burnout? The area most people think about is exhaustion, physical, mental and emotional. The areas that are less talked about are cynicism and a reduced sense of efficacy.

Cynicism is negativity. This can show up as criticism but also in a loss of enjoyment for things that you once loved and withdrawal.

The reduced sense of efficacy is feeling like the task is too big, it’s impossible, you’re not making a difference any more or you can’t make a difference.
